Autumn Weather Forecast 2011
The weather for this Autumn will start off mainly wet for the first 10 days
of September with the temperature reaching as high as 20c or 21c in
some places mid month. Thereafter things continue a lot more unsettled and periods
of wind and rain will be quite common for the rest of the Autumn.
Overall the season was quite mixed with a lot of rain to start September but
thereafter things were drier.
So basically September 2010 will be milder than average but also wetter than
average too with most of the rain falling in the second half of the month.
In October there will be a lot more in the way of windy weather with the
odd very windy spell. The only positive side of this is that the temperatures
will remain above normal and most of these storms look like being short-lived.
Rainfall will be quite high again and it is worth mentioning that it will be
quite high for all the Autumn but nothing like as widespread and heavy
as last Autumn.
November sometimes brings some cold weather and 2011 looks like it
will be no exception in this regard either with a lot of frost and cold nights
promised but also a lot of cool weather. The very North of Ireland could
see some snow late in the month.
The Autumn weather forecast is based on very Long Range models on
the net and my own thoughts and analysis of the seasons for the past 100 years.
No forecast can be certain but weathergossip does have a fairly reliable weather
forecasting record and in any case as the Autumn weather forecast changes
and needs to be adjusted so too will the forecast itself. Our Summer forecast just needed
a few minor tweaks here and ther and feedback was quite positive about it
in the main. I am constantly trying to improve my forecasts and lots of reading and
analysis takes place between the printing of forecasts like the Autumn weather
for 2011 for Ireland
