A mild and dry January but with rain sleet and snow on occasion

Mild and Dry at first with some precipitation in the first week. This will continue into the second week and the temperatures
will be in low single figures for most of the month. Late in week 2 it gets milder until around January 20th
when it looks like cold and dry conditions will develop so expect most of the rain to fall from January 15th
until January 19th. Snow is hard to pinpoint at this stage but there will certainly be snow
at some stage for all parts of Ireland during January 2012....updates to follow
