G'Day from Australia where the weather is almost always dry but may rarely turn wet. The max and min are usually given in centigrade by the Australian Met Office. In the Summertime it will be over 40 degrees and this figure may even hit the mid 40s in parts of the Central Plains. Sydney rarely goes above the 40 mark but it is quite hot at times and temperatures up to 40 are not uncommon in the Summer. One thing of note in Australia is that their Summertime is in December, January and February which of course is the opposite to our own here in Ireland.
